  • You must have a gas-fitting contractor licence to provide gas-fitting work to businesses, the public or the government.
  • Gas-fitting work includes the design, installation, construction, testing, commissioning, decommissioning, conversion, modifications, relocation, repair, alterations, servicing or maintenance of gas installation or gas storage systems.
  • A licence is valid for one year.
  • You can complete the renewal online. You can renew your licence up to 6 weeks before your current licence is due to expire.
