Our people and culture

We’re here to make it easier for Tasmanians to do their business with government, no matter what stage of life they are at. Our ideal applicants are natural problem solvers who can simplify the complicated and excel at helping customers find what they need. Being friendly and personable is a must!

There is a lot to learn, so we help every step of the way with a thorough induction, one-on-one and group training, and on the job mentoring. This enables us to provide excellent customer experiences in-person, over the phone, or via our growing range of online services. With 27 service centres across Tasmania, our staffing model allows for flexibility to work within your region, whether you work for our frontline services or corporate administration

We are committed to fostering a diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve and where employees feel welcomed, safe, and supported. We encourage all staff and customers to provide regular feedback on how we can continually improve on our service to the Tasmanian community.
