Apply for a restricted hire vehicle licence

• There are 2 types of restricted hire vehicle licences which allow a small passenger vehicle to be used for restricted hire for a pre-booked public passenger service - specific or general. Find out more about each type of service on the Transport Services website.
• You must hold passenger transport service operator accreditation for a Category A service.
• You must submit the completed application form (PDF, 569KB) at a service centre and pay 2 fees - the $35.60 application fee and the $124.60 licence fee.
