Apply for a hire and drive passenger service operator accreditation

• Detailed information about your accreditation is available in the Hire and Drive Passenger Service Operator Accreditation Guide (PDF, 2526KB). You must complete the application form at the back of the guide and apply at a service centre.
• You must also supply a completed self-audit checklist (PDF, 169KB), a national police certificate (PDF, 848KB) and your current Tasmanian licence or proof of identity documents. You must pay a fee.
• If you are applying for a company you must provide an ASIC current historical extract, or a certificate of incorporation if you are applying for an incorporated body.
• You must be accredited if you are operating a hire and drive rental service and may need to pay a fine if you do not have the right accreditation.
