- A general liquor licence allows you to sell liquor between 5 am and midnight daily. This licence is usually issued to hotels and taverns.
- You must lodge an application form (PDF, 124KB) and the required documentation by emailing licensing@treasury.tas.gov.au, or by post to the Commissioner for Licensing, Liquor and Gaming Branch, GPO Box 1374, Hobart, TAS 7001.
- Fees are payable as part of your application.
- It usually takes 4 to 6 weeks to learn of the outcome of your application.
