About applying for a replacement Transport Access Scheme Parking Permit or Smartcard
If you have had your permit or smartcard lost, damaged or stolen you can apply for a replacement.
Please note if your temporary parking permit was issued through a council, you must apply to the issuing council for a replacement.
If your parking permit was issued in a state other than Tasmania, you must apply to the issuing authority in that state for a replacement.

What you need to apply
Online
To apply for a replacement online you must have:
- your personal and contact information
- a police report number (if applicable).
Service centre
To apply for a replacement at a service centre you must have:
- a completed application form (PDF, 90KB)
- a police report number (if applicable).

You can apply for a replacement permit or smartcard if you are a Transport Access Scheme member.
Proving your identity
You do not need to prove your identity.
How much it costs
Replacing a lost parking permit or smartcard costs $11.
You do not have to pay if the permit or smartcard is stolen and you can provide a police report number.
Damaged or faulty parking permits and smartcards can be replaced free of charge. You must surrender the permit or smartcard and make a new application at a service centre.
